Mish Mash

So, the really hilarious thing about my last blog is that I accidentally published it on the Gold Coast Lady Anglers blog instead of my own. I laughed so hard I almost wee wee'd my pants! What a dork.

Jennifer, We are having Aiden story withdrawals AND we want to see pictures of the kitchen.

Matt got home today from camping on Santa Cruz island. That's what he wanted to do for his birthday, since he's starting at Nordtroms tomorrow. He couldn't get anybody to go with him so he went by himself. He left Saturday morning and got back home this morning. He reported all the envious details. Packing 1 mile up a Eucalyptus grove to the camp site. He hiked to the other side of the island, scouting where he wanted to snorkle etc. Unfortunately he broke his sling on his pole spear so no fish for him. He did have great snorkling, though. The only food he brought with him was a loaf of bread and some PB&J. Works! He said his favorite place on the island is the campsite, laying under the stars with the aroma from eucalypus trees, with out a care in the world. Sounds like a great Birthday. I am so happy that he "gets" what the finer things in life are.

Oh I just love you and I love your blog.
You are so much of a better writer than that gal who wrote "EAT, PRAY, WHINE ... "
LOL xo Betsy

well, I put a picture up. A couple of weeks ago, before the counter was in, Aiden walked into the house, stopped in the middle of the gutted kitchen and shouted, "Goddammit, this kitchen is not finished!" I blame Abby and her roommates...

OMG that is funny!! I've got tears.. Wrong and funny at the same time.. Crazy Aiden!!

Well, a Happy Be-lated Birthday to you, Katie and Matt.. I've been really slacking this year on cards.. Sorry.. It's been pretty much the worst month of my life. and is only getting worse, but that's another story.. (my blog will fill you in)

I'm happy for Matt as well about his camping. I must have said 5 times this month alone, I'm craving camping and when are we going, where are we going, etc.. I do have one confirmed answer for a trip with my dad's family in Yosemite in July, but that's so far away. And we need alone camping. We'll have to think of something. There's a place we like to go up in the Sequoias near Camp Nelson, it's only about 1 1/2 hours away and very do-able. But snorkeling, that's way better.. Maybe soon.. Love to you all.. Love, Lacey
