Mom's a genius! I have been crazy with disconnectitis for two days! That's the sometimes fatal disease that attacks your computer for no reason, and prevents you from being able to....gulp... go online. I was sure I had caught the disease and was even feeling somewhat suicidal when Mom told me to unplug and plug back again, my modem. Surely I'm not the only one who didn't know of this cure!
